BSI Global Logistics & HALO Bring Pet Care to the Workplace

On September 1, BSI Global Logistics and HALO, a well-known premium pet food brand, joined forces for a special workplace pop-up event that brought pet care, responsible pet ownership, and animal welfare into the everyday office environment.

The event brought together BSI employees who share a love for cats, dogs, and other animals, creating a warm opportunity to connect, exchange experiences, and support a meaningful cause.

For BSI, logistics is about connecting people, businesses, and markets around the world. But the connections we build are not limited to business. We also believe in creating a workplace where care, responsibility, and kindness have a place.

Bringing Pet Care into the Workplace

BSI colleagues are actively participating in the activities.

Before the event, BSI conducted an internal survey to learn more about employees who have cats or dogs, as well as colleagues who regularly feed or care for stray animals.

The response brought together a group of employees with a shared passion for animals. Some are pet owners who care for their animals every day, while others quietly help stray cats and dogs in their communities.

On the day of the event, the HALO team was on site throughout the pop-up, introducing employees to the brand and its range of pet food products.

Employees had the opportunity to explore the products in person, learn more about pet nutrition, and exchange their own experiences of caring for their pets.

The office environment took on a different atmosphere for the day—one filled with conversations about cats and dogs, stories about life with pets, and small moments of connection between colleagues.

Small Commitments, Meaningful Care

One of the highlights of the event was the charity initiative focused on animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.

Employees were invited to make a personal commitment through initiatives such as "Support Stray Animals" and "Responsible Pet Ownership."

Many colleagues took part voluntarily and received pet food samples to take home for their own pets.

The commitments themselves were simple, but the ideas behind them were meaningful.

Caring for animals does not always require a major action. It can begin with responsible pet ownership, providing proper care and nutrition, treating animals with kindness, or simply paying more attention to stray animals in the communities where we live.

Through these small actions, the event encouraged employees to think about how everyday choices can make a positive difference to animals around us.

A Warm Moment in the Everyday Workplace

For colleagues who have cats and dogs at home, the event was also an opportunity to share practical experiences—from feeding routines and pet habits to the unexpected stories that come with living alongside animals.

For employees who regularly care for stray animals, it provided a chance to connect with others who share the same concern.

For everyone involved, it was a welcome change from the usual working day.

The pop-up turned part of the office into a lively space for pet lovers and animal welfare advocates, bringing a little more warmth and fun into the workplace.

More importantly, it created an opportunity for colleagues to connect beyond their everyday roles and responsibilities.

More Than a Workplace Activity

At BSI Global Logistics, we believe that a company is built not only through business performance, but also through the people who make up the organization and the values they share.

Our collaboration with HALO was a small but meaningful way to bring these values into everyday working life.

By creating space for conversations around pet care and animal welfare, we hope to encourage greater awareness of responsible pet ownership and kindness toward animals.

The physical event may have come to an end, but the care behind it does not have to stop there.

Whether it is caring for a pet at home, helping a stray animal, or making more responsible choices in our daily lives, small actions can continue long after a workplace event is over.

For BSI, this is also part of our broader approach to building a positive corporate culture and incorporating meaningful social responsibility into our ESG efforts.

Caring Beyond Logistics

As a global logistics service provider, BSI Global Logistics connects suppliers, brands, and markets across borders every day.

But we believe that logistics is ultimately about more than moving goods from one place to another. It is about creating connections—and the connections we build should contribute to a more responsible and caring world.

Our collaboration with HALO is one small example of this philosophy.

At the same time, BSI continues to support the international pet food supply chain, providing cross-border logistics solutions for brands importing into China and Chinese pet food companies expanding into overseas markets.

With AEO Advanced certification, an established global network, professional customs clearance capabilities, and reliable warehousing and transportation operations, BSI helps pet food products move efficiently and safely across international markets.

From supporting pet food imports into China to helping Chinese brands reach customers overseas, BSI connects the supply chain behind the products that families and their pets rely on every day.

Because while logistics connects the world, caring for the world is part of what makes those connections meaningful.
