Chongqing-Liège All-Cargo Air Route Launched
Chongqing, January 2026 — Suparna Airlines officially launched the "Chongqing-Liège" all-cargo air route. Operated by B777 all-cargo aircraft, the route will initially run 2 times a week and be increased to 4 times a week subsequently, focusing on cross-border e-commerce cargo. As an important logistics hub in Europe, Liège can cover 60 million European consumers within 4 hours. The launch of this route will greatly improve the timeliness and efficiency of cross-border e-commerce logistics between western China and Europe.
Meanwhile, the Ningbo-Liège air route has been resumed, operating 3 times a week with a dual-mode of "general cargo + e-commerce cargo", further enriching the China-Europe air cargo network. The launch and resumption of these two routes are a microcosm of the continuous expansion of China’s air logistics capacity. Statistics show that China’s civil aviation international cargo and mail volume increased by 22.1% in 2025, providing strong capacity support for cross-border trade.
Against the backdrop of the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce, air cargo, with its fast and efficient characteristics, has become the preferred transportation method for high-value-added and time-sensitive goods. The launch of the Chongqing-Liège route by Suparna Airlines will further improve the international air logistics network in western China, help Chongqing build an inland open highland, and promote economic and trade exchanges between western China and Europe.
